How Do I Get Rid of Skin Tags Without Having a Surgical Procedure?
Do you have these annoying growths under your arm or on your neck or perhaps even in your private area? Would you like to know how to get rid of skin tags without a surgical procedure?
Now, granted, we are not talking about a big complicated surgery of course, but just referring to a visit to the physician to have the tags removed.
Almost everyone would want to avoid that except those who go strictly “by the book” and would never think of trying any home remedies for removing these pesky things.
So here’s the thing, you really don’t have to go to the doctor, you can simply use any one of a number of methods on your own. Here are a few things you can try:
1. Tie a piece of thread around the tag and wait for it to fall off. The pros of this is you can do it on your own and you don’t have to spend any money. Cons are it is often painful until they fall off, and you are never sure how long you’ll have to wait.
2. Use nail polish. This is a new one that I’ve recently heard about so I can’t vouch for it. Supposedly you can put clear fingernail polish on the tag and eventually it will fall off. The advantage again is it is a DIY method. Disadvantage is I’m not too sure this will work.
3. Cut it off yourself. This to me is the easiest way to handle this problem. I’ve done it myself and it does work. So that is the good. The “bad” is that it hurts! But if you are in a hurry this is the way to go. Only use this method for very small tags though.
So yes, you can get rid of skin tags at home without having any surgical procedures but there are pros and cons to each possible treatment.
