Managing aches, pains and chronic disease - Why you should care

You will recall that in Part 1 we established the main causes of aches, pains and chronic degenerative disease as “Acidosis”, the increased acidity of the blood pH caused by what we eat and drink and the polluted environment we live in, resulting in the slow toxic poisoning of the bodies tissues and cells as well as internal inflammation

You will also recall that although the body must maintain a slightly alkaline pH of 7.365 at all times to perform optimally without disease and premature death, virtually everything we do has an “acidic” affect on the body.

We also established that Cancer and other chronic diseases cannot survive in an alkaline (high on oxygen) inner body terrain but thrive in an acidic body (low on oxygen).

In this article we are going to look at “Why You Should Care?”, and what you should be looking out for, to enable you to make informed decisions about your health and wellness and that of your family.

Introducing Additional Toxic Enemies

As we now know, “Acidosis” and “Toxicity” are the cause of all metabolic and degenerative diseases. We virtually live in a toxic wasteland, surrounded by poisonous toxins and dangerous chemicals and we have turned our bodies into “acid” processing factories by feeding ourselves with “modern” processed toxic and acidic foods.

There are however three other “enemies” we have not yet mentioned yet that you must also be aware of:

• Personal Care products – including cosmetics and baby care products
• Household Cleaning Products – detergents and washing powders
• Modern Medicine – prescription drugs (we will cover Modern Medicine later).

Have you ever stopped to think how many Personal Care products you use every day?

The Environmental Working Group, a non profit organisation, whose mission is to use the power of public information to protect public health and the environment, conducted a survey of more than 2,300 people in the US which established that the average adult uses 10 personal care products every day, with 126 unique chemical ingredients.

This seems similar in the UK and Europe as most people use toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, hair conditioner, body lotion, sunscreen, lip balm, shaving cream and after shave for men and make up for women.
